CRU Change of Supplier Update

This CRU reports present information on the number of customers switching supplier between October 2018 and January 2025 in the Irish electricity and gas retail markets, including monthly and annual comparisons. The report covers monthly customer gains, customer losses and the net switching position for all suppliers with a market share greater than 1% for each of the domestic and business customer groups.
All data presented in this report excludes new customer registrations as they do not involve a switch from one supplier to another. Similarly, customers’ contract renegotiations with their existing suppliers are also not included in the switching figures.
