Consultation on Gas Networks Ireland Ten Year Network Development Plan 2024
The CRU has launched a public consultation on GNI’s draft 2024 Ten Year Network Development Plan.

In accordance with Article 22 of EU Directive 2009/73/EC and Part 4 of Statutory Instrument (S.I.) 16 of 2015, the CRU is today, 18 March 2025, launching a public consultation on GNI’s draft 2024 Ten Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) covering the period 2023/24-2032/33 inclusive.
The purpose of this paper is to seek comment from actual and potential system users on the draft TYNDP. CRU will also consider comments on the paper from general respondents as part of this consultation process.
To support the consultation process and the development of a robust TYNDP, the CRU has included seven consultation questions that respondents may use as a basis for their review. Following the consultation, the CRU will request GNI to fully consider all comments and suggestions submitted as part of the consultation before submitting the final TYNDP to the CRU for approval.
Comments should be submitted via the consultation platform, by close of business on Friday 15th April 2025.
